Damascus Road
a city within the city
What is the 333?
Author: admin
333 is Damascus Road’s weekly worship gathering intended to bring the community together in prayer for all individuals, focus the community around the Word of God through clear and pointed preaching and teaching, help the community remember the Gospel and encourage continual surrender to Christ through the sacrament of weekly communion, and provide an opportunity for public celebration of the character and ways of God through catechism, song, rhyme, and other artistic expressions.
333 is carried out in a context that is everyday in outward appearance (normal attire), clearly relevant to the culture of those within the community (musical style, language of preaching), and deliberately confrontive (unafraid to boldly speak truth whether socially or culturally accepted or not).
At 2:30, we have a family Bible time for those who are desiring to dig in a little deeper with their children. We begin with learning all together, sing songs, and then break into groups to finish with age- appropriate activities.
